“SEVKABEL” Production Company LLC

The plant was founded in 1879 as a manufacture of the Siemens&Halske trading house. After nationalization it was renamed to “Severny Kabelny Zavod” (Northern Cable Plant) and later to “Sevkabel”.

“Sevkabel” is one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of cable and conductor goods with its main production site in St.-Petersburg.

Today, “Sevkabel” offers a wide range of products (over 25,000 label sizes) of various designation:

  • Power cables with paper, polyester resin, rubber, PVC, polymer and fireproof composite insulation (LS, HF)
  • Power cables and wires for internal works
  • Instrumentation cables
  • Steel insulated wires for transmission lines
  • Special designation cables: shipboard cables, wirelines, radiofrequency cables for defense needs.
